Lead Pastors
Pastor Keith & Julie Short have served as Pastors of Mentone Faith Chapel since March 2018. They have three grown children (two are married), and two grandchildren. Before coming to Mentone Faith Chapel Pastor Keith has served as a Youth Pastor in Sidney, OH (1986-1989); Youth Pastor in Imperial, CA (1989-1995); and Pastor of First Assembly of God in Beaumont, CA (1995-2017). Keith’s wife Julie is a First Grade Teacher at Hemmerling Elementary School in Banning, CA.
Pastor Keith was born in San Manuel, Arizona, and raised in Rialto, California. As a teenager he was very involved in his home church and youth group of Riverside Calvary Temple, participating in Bible Quizzing and Teen Talent. He enjoys singing, playing the guitar and piano. Pastor Keith is obsessed with trying to make his lawn look like a professional baseball field. Thus, he fertilizes 5-6 times a year and tries to mow in straight, crisscrossed rows.

Leslie Brewer
Administrative Pastor
Leslie and her husband Bill and pastored Mentone Faith Chapel for 13 years. The present church on Agate Avenue was built under Pastor Bill’s leadership.
Leslie serves as the Administrator for Faith Chapel, Director of Music, and Director of Women’s Ministries. The most amazing thing about God to Leslie is His constant companionship. She loves to worship Jesus and enjoy God’s handiwork outdoors gardening.
